Is Rush Limbaugh Rhetoric Reason for Violence Against Women In Military?

Rush Limbaugh Cartoon by Ian D. Marsden of mar...

From Denny:  In another version of stupid, the Pentagon continues to air the Rush Limbaugh Show, refusing to cancel it,  insulting American women in and out of uniform.   Pentagon press secretary, George Little, sees no reason why the American Forces Network should stop broadcasting Rush Limbaugh's show.
Little claims the show is popular with service members and that there is no plan to review that decision.  Because this incendiary crap is popular you refuse to get rid of it?  It's no wonder the Afghans are so furious with your insensitivity.
You see, it is apparently the Defense Department's policy to broadcast shows that "reflect a wide range of opinion."  So, I guess they should consider giving air time to the Ku Klux Klan?  How is this situation any different than inciting violence against blacks?  Hey, let's give air time to The Taliban.  I'm sure there are plenty of service members who want to hear from their warped point of view too.

For almost 30 years, Rush Limbaugh has incited violence against women by classing us as subhumans.  Listen up, Sec. Leon Panetta.  You were wondering how there could be so many thousands of rapes in the military and the military colleges?  You claimed you were horrified, realizing the numbers are in the hundreds of thousands and that you have made moves to correct it.
Now hear this, Pentagon brass and Sec. Panetta.  I may support the military in most things - OK, primarily as a champion of the boots on the ground when they are getting shafted by political types at the top or Big Business, but allowing this insult is beyond reason.
I like you, Leon, but right about now I find you and your military brass to be dense, rude and crude.  I'd also like to bounce you all off all four walls and "ream you a new one" in the crude parlance of my former crusty old guy military mentors from my childhood.
But hey, I'll stick to the argument of why you don't allow this garbage on the airwaves:
1 - The constant programming of hostility against women eventually breeds violence.  Every day Limbaugh labels women as negative stereotypes of the likes of how The Taliban treat women.  It's a long-running psy-ops targeting all women.  You idiots buy into it and then turn around and feed it to the troops non-stop.
2 - The troops have been programmed since childhood on this garbage - that's decades of stinkin' thinkin' that no one stands up against to correct and when they do they are ridiculed.  Now if we allowed the KKK on the AFR airwaves would anyone challenge them?  Of course, they would, and rightly so.  Why is it such a big deal for women to challenge the same stereotypes and encouraged violence against us?
3 - Over half of this country is comprised of women.  We are taxpayers.  And right about now, we are not at all happy with how you are spending our money.  You are promoting a man who lies, twists the facts to fit his political agenda, incites violence against women and disrespect of women.  He is undermining the very effectiveness of the military.  You are using taxpayer money, money women paid to support our military, to incite troops to hate us and harm us.  What is wrong with that picture?
When will you consider our civil rights to feel safe in our own country, to walk the streets without fear of some Limbaugh Nazi believing himself to be on a mission from God to try to kill us like one did when he shot Congresswomen Gabby Giffords?
From VoteVets.org, a veterans advocacy organization and their female service members:  "Rush Limbaugh has a freedom of speech and can say what he wants, but in light of his horribly misogynistic comments, American Forces Radio should no longer give him a platform.  Our entire military depends on troops respecting each other - women and men.  There simply can be no place on military airwaves for sentiments that would undermine that respect."
These female service members are calling for the Defense Department to quit airing Limbaugh's program which airs five mornings a week.  You may call it programming but it's obvious it's really brainwashing, an entirely different kind of dangerous thinking.
Tell me, are you "winning hearts and minds"?  I'm not happy with you, Leon and President Obama; none of us are.  Fix it.
