Replacing Political Legend and Lion of the Senate: Ted Kennedy

From Denny: It's a sad day when you have to accept that a political legend is gone, leaving it to the next generation to "pass it forward" championing the needs of the people. Now more than ever it's important that the people of Massachusetts choose wisely as the economy is still bleak in that state.

It would be great to elect yet another woman Senator as I've long championed that women should make up half of the House and Senate. We are a long way from that goal. Statistically, women make up over 50% of America and we should be properly represented.

Besides, Ted Kennedy fought long and hard for women's rights. What better legacy than for a woman to now take his former seat at the table? We can hear him bellowing in that loud voice of his, all the way from Heaven, "Now that's what I'm talking about!" :)
